In order to meet the requirements of Law 25 and with a view to protecting your personal information, the cz conseil team has established a confidentiality and personal information protection policy.

 

The purpose of this policy is to explain and inform all users who visit or browse the Web site operated by cz conseil of the following terms and conditions:

Subject to a retention period provided for by law, contractual restrictions, or a legal obligation incumbent on cz conseil, your personal information will be retained until the end of the period necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected or until your consent is withdrawn. At the end of the retention period or when the personal information is no longer required, cz conseil will ensure that it is:

• Destroy;

• Anonymize (make anonymous to prevent identification between the person and the personal information) to use it for legitimate purposes.

Measures to ensure data security -

cz conseil takes reasonable security measures to protect the personal information under its control. We have implemented organizational security measures to protect your personal information from loss or theft, unauthorized access, use or disclosure:

• Access to your personal information is restricted to authorized cz conseil employees who require access for authorized purposes;

• We make our authorized employees aware of the importance of protecting personal information.

However, we cannot guarantee that the safeguards we use will always be effective. No means of transmitting information over the Internet or storing information is perfectly secure. A breach of security measures may give rise to risks such as phishing or identity theft. In such cases, we take prompt action to mitigate the risks and inform you when the risk of serious harm is real, or when we are required to do so by law. If you receive a suspicious e-mail that appears to come from us, please do not reply and contact us.  

Rights of access, rectification and withdrawal -

Limits of liability of cz conseil -

You acknowledge and accept that e-mails sent to cz conseil are not under its control or protected before they reach the e-mail inboxes of cz conseil employees. cz conseil cannot therefore guarantee the security of your data transmission. Any data you transmit is done so at your own risk.

Despite the adoption by cz conseil of this policy for its authorized employees, it is possible that such information may be disclosed or intercepted without right.

cz conseil shall not be liable for any loss or damage of any kind incurred in connection with the use of the website operated by cz conseil including the manner in which your personal information or data is collected, used and disclosed for:
 

• Special damages;

• Punitive, exemplary, incidental, moral or consequential damages;

• Loss of profits, loss of earnings or loss of information;

• Damages for loss of business;

• Other expenses, losses or damages resulting from the use or unavailability of the website operated by cz conseil.

Applicable laws -

 

The use of the Web site operated by cz conseil, including the manner in which your personal information or data is collected, used and disclosed, is governed by the laws and courts of the Province of Quebec, Canada. Any dispute, litigation or legal proceeding between you and cz conseil, or any other person relating to this policy, the website operated by cz conseil or otherwise shall be resolved before the judicial district of Montreal, Province of Quebec, Canada. You irrevocably submit to this choice of district and consent to exclusive jurisdiction for any dispute, litigation or legal proceeding.
